- All items are shipped as soon as possable. For parts this usually means the same day for order placed before noon MST. For basic systems it usually will be the next day. For special order items or for highly custom systems it could take as long as three days for it to ship out. If it takes longer than this we will contact you with the exception. If you select local delivery you should expect a member of our team to deliver your products in the afternoon.
- Privacy & Security
- We value your privacy, we never sell your information. All credit card data is only sent to PayPal and we do not store this information on our end. We use very high end and secure servers and we have done everything we can to protect the security of your information.
- Returns & Replacements
- Unless you have a separate agreement with Emerald Computers, all hardware, accessories, peripherals, parts and software that is unopened and still in its/their sealed package may be returned within twenty-one (21) days from the date on the packing slip or invoice for a credit or a refund of the purchase price paid, less shipping and handling and applicable restocking fees.
Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of an Emerald Computers error, a restocking fee of 15% may be charged on hardware, accessories, peripherals, parts and unopened software still in its/their sealed package. If an item has been open or used then it is up to Emerald Computers if it may be returned and if any additional fees may be charged. Most hardware can be returned with no problems. If any parts or packaging is missing an additional deduction will be taken for the lack of those items. Speakers, Printers and Monitors will have major deductions if packaging is not 100% intact. Software that is open or has been activated can not be returned. Special order items, may have a 50% restocking fee. Printers can not be returned once the ink or toner has been opened.
There is no refund on labor, delivery or shipping.
In order to process any return a return request must be made. By default customers will be given store credit. If the customer wants a refund then sales paid with credit, debit or cash will be refunded as soon as the request is processed. Sales paid with a check can only be refunded at least 10 days after the check was deposited.
Used items are sold as-is and can not be returned unless a separate agreement is made.
Before you return the product(s) to us, make sure to back up the data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) in the product(s). Remove any confidential, proprietary or personal information, removable media, such as floppy disks, CDs, or Memory Cards. We are not responsible for any of your confidential, proprietary or personal information; lost or corrupted data; or damaged or lost removable media. - Ordering
- To place an order simply order online. You may also order by contacting us directly. If you have questions about what you plan to order feel free to contact us during business hours. It is also important to note that our web site uses stock photos and the product that you will receive could look different.
- Payment, Pricing & Promotions
- Payment must clear before your order is shipped. Pricing is listed on our site, this pricing may change from time to time, you will pay the price that was listed at the time your order was placed. Promotions must be entered in when you place your order. You will need to contact us if you need a promotion adjustment.
- Viewing Orders
- In order to view orders you need to have an account on our cart system. Once you do all orders will be logged in there.
- Updating Account Information
- If your information changes please be sure to keep us informed so that your future orders will not be delayed.
